Welcome! I am glad you stopped by.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Rose. I will tell you a little bit about myself and look forward to meeting you. I hope you will send me a message so we can get acquainted.

I live out a quiet on a country lane, lined with an old split rail fence. My cozy home is surrounded by a barn, a field of cows, woods, and the gentle rhythm of nature. It is here, in this peaceful place, that I take long walks and reflect, pray, dream and ‘just be.’ I enjoy the sun coming in through my window every morning when I wake up. I lay and listen to the birds singing. I love being with friends, family and new people I meet- laughing, talking, and sharing life together. Yet, I have come to cherish the gift of solitude.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, creating, decorating inside and out, and reading in my cozy leopard chair. I have a tiny sunroom, and it is where I begin the day most mornings, with my Bible and journal. Sitting on my porch swing fills me with peace. I have a wanderlust for travel and there are many more places I want to see and experience.

My journey has been one of profound transformation.

After 20 years of living the life I dreamed of, one phone call changed everything. The loss was overwhelming, and it shattered life as I knew it. I have been the woman on the floor, crying out to God in the middle of the night, unsure how to move forward. Have you been that woman, too?

I have walked through seasons of love, grief, pain, healing, and change. Wife, Mother, Widow, Wife again, Divorce. Each role shaped me, but none of them define me. I have learned that what truly defines us is our choice to keep going, to move forward in faith when it feels impossible.

I now understand the way stress affects our body and weakens our immune system. I learned the hard way how trauma gets into every cell of our body. Taking care of my health—mind, body, and spirit—is a high priority in my life. I believe God wants me strong and healthy to do whatever He has planned for me to do in the rest of my life.

I do not have the story I once hoped for, but I have found beauty in the one I have been given. Healing is a choice. And every day, I thank Him for what is, and I trust Him for the good that’s still to come.
